The crochet cardigan is the piece our customers come back for. Open-front and unstructured, it layers like a kimono but with the warmth and texture of a knit — and because it is hand-stitched, the fabric has a depth that no machine knit matches. Crochet jackets are the same craft with a job: denser stitches and a defined shoulder, so they work as real outerwear from March to May and September to November.

Choose by length and stitch: long crochet cardigans to the knee in granny-square or shell stitch for the longest line; short crochet jackets at the hip for jeans and skirts; lace-stitch cardigans for spring evenings. Colors run from cream and oat to the multicolor patchwork our artisans are known for.

Style with one of our long layered necklaces and a leather bracelet; the handcraft in each piece speaks to the others.

Will a crochet cardigan stretch out? It will if hung wet. Lay flat to dry and store folded and it keeps its shape for years. Why is handmade crochet expensive? Because there is no crochet machine — a long cardigan is 20–40 hours of a skilled artisan's time.
